About Swati Khurana

Swati Khurana is a writer and visual artist from New York City. She has shown her work at the Brooklyn Museum, Queens Museum, and Chatterjee & Lal (Mumbai) and been published in Asian American Literary Review, Feminist Wire, and Columbia Review. A founding member of the South Asian Women's Creative Collective, her collaborative project “Unsuitable Girls” with Anjali Bhargava is currently at the Smithsonian’s Beyond Bollywood exhibition. She has received awards from the Jerome Foundation, Atlantic Center of the Arts, and Bronx Council of the Arts. Currently a fiction MFA student at Hunter College and Kundiman fellow, Swati is working on her first novel. Her website is: link.
