When the church bells ring, I don’t see the connection with spirituality. It’s a regimented factor chiding the followers back into faith. A spot check finger wag. And at the same time, the bells make music, music that is unleashed for the whole hearing nearness. Who can argue with morning and noon time bell ringing, once you separate it from the wagging fingers and the pontification?
