Ponderosa Stomp test

They had rock and roll. They had rockabilly and garage rock. They even had some blues. They are the Ponderosa Stomp. But what I heard in Richard Caiton, Charles Brimmer, Swamp Dogg, and Spencer Wiggins over the course of an early fall weekend in New Orleans was enough for me. Each performance left a teeny buzz in my ear, like tinnitus, only instead of a harsh chaotic abstraction of noise, this buzz was sweet and soulful.
