I walked over to get us a fast food meal. The sky dipped and turned the color of a bruise. I looked up and there it was. Twenty miles away, maybe thirty. Funnel cloud sweeping back up into itself. The dog looked up from the burger I got for him and stared with me as the twister disappeared.
